The desert of Nevada was one thing, but Egypt was another matter entirely. The pair navigated the landscape easily enough, and Naruto found himself wondering about some of their friends back home. Those who lived in Sunagakure. At least until they'd come face to face with the kishin. Sasuke had elaborated (in as much detail as he was ever inclined to provide) that their target was likely poisonous, that she removed flesh from bone. Instead, Naruto had occupied himself with the more pressing- WHAT THE HELL KIND OF KISHIN DOESN'T WEAR CLOTHES?!
It wasn't a short battle, and the pair had certainly needed to be creative- but in the end Sasuke's suggestion to use a sword had come in handy, and given the duo the distance they needed to stay safe. Naruto was able to channel Chidori through the blade, and it made this mission one of the few where the pair had come back unscathed. Afterwards, the pair even took some time to loiter around the city and explore the change of scenery! (At Naruto's insistence, and Neji's suggestion.)
