In the city covered with sand, Karina found herself pushing herself to do as much as she could-- and not just because it was her silent responsibility as a hero. In Death City, she had something to defend, even with her friends gone. There were the pets she left in the shelter, the friends she made in SEES and the rest of the city... and of course, her partner.

Speaking of her partner, as they went about their job of taking down Kishin Egg after Kishin Egg, she noticed that he seemed very keen on saving any civilian they could find. She wondered if he was worried about someone, but decided to keep that thought to the back of her mind. For now, her attention will stay fixed on fighting for everything she cared for.
